Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this beautiful day! Thank you for everything you are and everything you do, and most of all for your gift of life!

Please forgive us for our transgressions and continue to work on our hearts for forgiveness of those who do wrong against or hurt us. Help us to see them through your eyes and give the same grace and forgiveness that you give to us when we are not worthy.

Father, I ask you especially today for comfort for those hurting due to loss Please wrap your arms of comfort around them and bless them with your love and peace. Please give them the strength to walk through a time of grief and suffering, knowing that your plans are for all good and that you will prevail over all. Let them grow in their pain and suffering to develop a heart like yours.

Hold them and comfort them. I love you, and in your holy name, your will be done!
