Dear Father in heaven,

Thank you for your gift of life!

Some days I feel so very unworthy of the ways you have moved for me in my life. I know my transgressions. Yet, you know me better than I even know myself and you still have compassion and patience and you still run after me like the stray sheep. There is no love greater than yours. Every day, you offer your mercy and I am grateful for you and your unconditional love.

Please walk with me today and fill me with your spirit so I can be a light to others. Help me to overflow with love and compassion for everyone, not just the easy ones. Let me overflow with your love to even those that make it difficult and those who don’t seem to want to receive you. Help their eyes and hearts to open when they observe what you have done in my life. Use me, Father, and my testimony to bring others that peace that makes no sense in the midst of their chaos.

And Father, I am not finished. I am far from finished. Please, I pray, continue your work in me and lead me to my purpose. Reveal to me what it is that you want for me. Make it clear and give me such a peace with it that I cannot deny that it is of you.
