Dear Father God,

Thank you for waking us this morning and for your new mercies that greet us with the sunrise. Thank you for your creation. Thank you for loving us unconditionally.

Please forgive us for our transgressions of yesterday and give us your strength today to stay on the path you have laid for us. I invite you into my mind, my heart and ask you to guide my feet, my mouth, and my hands in all that I do today so that it glorifies you.

Father, last night as I slept, the word “intentional” came into my mind. So this morning I ask for your help so that I can intentionally step into the future. Anything that comes today, please give me the wisdom to choose my words and my actions intentionally toward your calling. Please remove the distractions that get in the way of my vision. And I rebuke the evil spirits which lie, distract and try to pull me away from you and my purpose. Give me the wisdom to intentionally seek your word today.

I love you, Lord! Your perfect will be done in everything!
