Dear Father,

Thank you for this day of rest! Thank you for being the greatest love of all!

Please forgive me for the times I have not trusted enough in your love for me and for not seeing myself through your eyes. Please forgive me for withholding surrender to you. But please continue to work on me and never leave my side.

Father, sometimes I don’t have the words to express what I need to come to you with, but also I know that sometimes I just need to listen. Today is one of those days, so Father, help me to be still and listen for your voice. Show me what I need to see today.

Help me to use the silence of the day to grow closer to you instead of allowing my mind to dwell on negative feelings.

Father, I give you gratitude and help me to use the quiet to praise you and show you love so that my heart will be filled with your love and knowing that I’m never alone.

Please wrap your arms of comfort around those friends and loved ones who are facing so many battles and help them to know they are not alone and that you will carry them thru. Please heal those of them who are sick and restore them to health!

I love you, I am yours! Your will be done now and always as your way is perfect.
