Dear Heavenly Father,

It never ceases to amaze me, the peace and contentment that comes with surrendering to your way and trusting in your will brings! I am forever grateful for everything that you have provided to me in every way. When I need comfort, you send it. When I need reminder, you give it. When I need anything, I can ask and know that you will provide. It may not be in the ways that my at times flawed and worldly thoughts would imagine, but then YOUR thoughts are higher than mine even on my best and most faithful day.

Thank you for the words you have already sent this morning that have reinforced what I know I need in my life.

Father, help me, help us all to develop a biblical worldview in how we approach every day and every situation. Please help us to be disciples to others, using our own “recoveries” to testify to them. Help us to approach lovingly, in the way that you would have us and with empathy and compassion.

Help us to come together in our small groups at church and in recovery groups and bless the leaders with the ability to direct the conversations in order to bring about movement from sin and offer loving and patient accountability.

It’s in those small communities that we can come together in your name, in your word, and build each other up in ways that will bring more people to know you and to accept your great gift. So Father, where two or more of us gather, bless us to be able to share your truth!

With love and gratitude, I thank you, Jesus! Walk with me today and help me to overflow with your light and goodness.

🙏 Amen♥️
