Dear Father God,

Thank you for this day and for your loving kindness and mercy. Thank you for all creation and the beauty in all of the tiniest details. Thank you, above all, for the greatest and most selfless gift that shows how deeply your love for us runs.

Father, please forgive me for the ways that I have fallen short lately and for the ways that I have sinned against you. Please help me to have a heart to not only accept your gift of forgiveness but that is obedient and excitedly wants to do what is right and true and a heart that is submissive to your will and ways.

Help me to have a heart that forgives and reflects your grace! Please help me to have a heart of compassion for even those who are difficult and those who wish me harm.

Help me to have a heart that is restored and receive peace and calmness that can only come through you.

I love you Father, please continue to work within me and increase my knowledge in your word and as that knowledge increases, increase my thirst for your word. Let me overflow with it so that just by living, I will be a testimony of you.
