Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your mercy, grace, love, guidance, your yoke. Thank you for your gift of the peace that transcends all understanding. Thank you for giving us the unmatchable gift of life and the ability to come directly to you with our burdens.

Please forgive me where I have fallen so short and be my strength and guide today. I need you, Father. I will always need you.

Father I ask you to bless my church and the efforts to bring your Word to the community. And especially right now, please bless the DNOW event. Please give the ones directing and speaking the words that will reach the students’ hearts and that will touch their souls with your love. Father, I remember what it was like to be that age and I wish that I had known you better and had that guidance. Please bless all of the students and if there are any who don’t know you, I pray that their eyes are opened to you and they accept you into their life. I pray that the event emboldens the students to be disciples for you and to bring your Word to their generation. I pray for your shield around them as they go into the world and that they have no fear in proclaiming you to others. I pray for your spirit to fill the event and that every souls there will feel your presence and be moved!

I love you, Father, so very much and I am eternally grateful for the ways in which are working in me. Some days, like today, my heart becomes so inexplicably heavy, but I know that when I ask you for help you answer. You have blessed me in so many ways, so I trust in you that you will always bring me the peace that I need to help me through.

Your will is for all good and your way is perfect, so I ask that YOUR will be done!
