Dear Father,

Thank you for being the all knowing and all seeing God. Thank you for your patience and grace. Thank you for your guidance and for your provision. Thank you for your love.

I need you today! I need you every day, but Father, today I am weary. Please help me to right my heart and my thinking where it is wrong. Please protect me from the words that are like arrows to my heart and bless the ones who are shooting them. Bless them with love and heal their hearts. I know their attack isn’t from me but from their own pain inside. But Father, I also know that I can do and say wrong things and I ask for your forgiveness for my own shortcomings. Help me to forgive and to love, even if it means removing myself or creating distance.

Help me to understand and help me to lean on you for my strength and for guidance.

I love you Lord, please just hold my hand today and give me your peace and comfort to get through.
