Dear Father,

Thank you for this day and for a new week. Thank you for your goodness and mercy. Thank you for your gift of eternal life!

Please forgive me where I have fallen short and where I have not put you first or come to you first. Strengthen me as I work to become what you are calling me to be.

Father, I ask today for all of us in the middle of trial, in the fire, in the wilderness, being refined, please just remind us daily that you are right there with us, and that you will NOT let us go and that in your perfect timing, you will remove us from it, restore us, and reveal to us what we are to learn and know from it.

Your love is forever. Your love is the greatest. Your love never fails.

I love you Father and I long for a heart like yours to love all, even my enemies. Keep working on me! Let me surrender and leave everything at your feet.

In your perfect timing, your will be done!
