Dear Father God,

You are the greatest, our protector, our shield and covering. You allow us to experience hardships, but you never leave us.

Father, this morning has been full of spiritual attacks and for a moment I found myself wanting to worry and have anxiety and fear. But I am immediately reminded of how you were so close to me before, when I had so very little faith. So I pray again, please hold me and help me to only deal with what is in front of me today and not worry about tomorrow because you already have it covered.

This morning, before, I heard a word:

“We never know that Jesus is all we need until Jesus is all we have.”

Lord, thank you when our hope seems gone, because then we can see you are our hope!

So we shouldn’t worry if our earthly life is laid to bare, because when we trust in you the pruning ALWAYS produces good fruit.

Instead of falling into my worry and anxiety before anything has come to pass, I THANK YOU for another opportunity to be refined in you and made better.

I love you always and will forever give you gratitude for your work in my life. I’ll never be perfect and I will fall down time and time again, but I have a love and a hope I have never known before and it transcends any earthly treasures.

I accept YOUR will and invite you into my life to lead me to YOUR goodness. Thank you for your peace and your rest.
