Dear Jesus,

Thank you for the great and selfless sacrifice of your own life on the cross in place of ours so that through our faith and repentance that we could be washed clean and receive forgiveness and to receive entry into the kingdom to live eternally with you.

Jesus, you are my redeemer, my rock, my protector, my provider. You are my everything.

Forgive me where I fell and failed yesterday and to focus on your face today, and to not worry for the future but accept what comes today. Please help me with my wandering mind and my earthly desires.

Please search my heart and fill it with love for you in the places where it is holding on to earthly things.

Please lead me today and forever towards what you hold for me. Your plan is good. Your thoughts are not my thoughts. Please keep working on my heart and each time I start to wander, as we are want to do with the distractions of this world, draw me back in. When I am the one out of the 100, bring me back. Please do not let me forget you and the treasures that come with a life in you.

Please give me peace today in my mind and let me know you are with me and within me. Remind me to open my eyes to you. Draw my gaze to you.

I am a sinner. I am imperfect. But in you alone, I am whole and I am loved.

I pray for the lost people in my life, that they will come to know you, your gift, and your love that is like no other, because I love them and want them to experience the peace and joy that I have received through you.
