Father,

I need you now and forever. Thank you for being El Roi, the God who sees. You saw me when I felt like I was alone and invisible and you showed me, in your time, that you saw me. You saw that I was lost, heartbroken, tired, crushed in spirit and you were near. You saw me and you came for me and I know you see me now.

Help me to surrender. Help me to loosen my grip on the things that I fear letting go, because with you, there is no fear. Help me to hand it to you and release it. I know I don’t need it and you are sufficient. You are also Jireh, and are more than enough. You supply all that I need. The flesh wants the things of this world and the enemy lies to us that without the world, we aren’t enough. When it’s without you that we are empty and lost. In you, we are enough.

I praise you with gratitude for all you have provided to me and for giving me a desire to seek you, even when I am not doing the best job at it. Don’t leave me and don’t give up on me.

I love you, and I need you and I surrender. Take this burden from my heart and fill it with your treasures instead. Lead me and guide me to the purpose I have in you.
