Thank you are words not sufficient to give you for the gift you have given us! Thank you for another beautiful day to give you glory for standing in our place and giving us the opportunity to live an eternal life with the Creator who formed us in love to have a relationship with Him. Thank you for your new mercy today.

Please forgive us where we fell short of that glorification and where we didn’t put you first or didn’t seek you before the world or our own flesh. Please help us to remember you in everything first and to see God’s work in the world around us. Please give us empathy and compassion for others and as you command, to compete with each other in love.

As we dress for work and make ourselves presentable to the world, Father, help us to not forget to fill ourselves with the Holy Spirit so that our clothing and our makeup are not what people see first, but that they will see you in our faces so much that the other doesn’t matter.

Lead us today to the people and the places that need us to testify about your work in our own lives and help us to lift up the people who are low in spirit or have not yet come to know you and have not accepted your gift.
