Sweet Heartbreaking

He breaks us, gracefully (like the song says) to bring us closer and to place us, lead us, to our purpose. He does it gently and lovingly.
I would rather cry my eyes out over that kind of heartbreaking because even if it feels like sorrow, it’s sorrow from conviction of wanting to give Jesus what He wants. Its conviction born out of being pursued by God, chased by God.

It’s a heartbreaking that brings cleansing and repair in the realization of the depth of the love Christ has for us and the realization that the conviction is not for the purpose of condemnation but to bring us to show the kind of love for Christ that He desires.
