Dear Father,

Thank you for another day! Thank you for your provisions, seen and unseen. Thank you for your providence. I love you!

I come to you now, as I am, a sinner and unclean. I forget so easily that I don’t need to come to you perfect and clean because it’s only through you that I can become clean. Forgive me for the ways I mess up every day and fail you. Like Paul said,

“I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Please do not leave me or stop working on me. Please continue to trouble my heart to come to you no matter how dirty and broken I may be and when I come, wash me clean again. Remind me of the blood that was shed so I could be redeemed from my inescapable sinful flesh. You are the only way.
