Dear Father,

Thank you for your word! Thank you for the people of wisdom you place in my life to help me to grow in you. Father, please help me surrender my whole heart to you first and before anything or anyone else. Father, I confess that I tend to allow my heart to lead and to make idols of people and of my loneliness. Please, please forgive me and show me that all I need is you because you will provide for all. You will not allow me to suffer needlessly and your plan and your will are perfect and I can trust and rest in it.

You have a reason and a purpose for everything. You are my shepherd and my tender. You know my needs and my desires. I desire companionship.

Father, if there is one for me who together we will be better than individually, I ask for you to lead us together. Bring us into each others lives and into union with you at the center.
