Dear Father,

Thank you for another day, another week and your new mercies. Thank you for your continual presence and your endless patience. Thank you for your daily reminders that I am loved regardless of anything I do, that I can’t make you stop loving me.

I surrender to you this morning my worries and my fears. You hold what is best for me and I surrender to your will and your way. Father, I am weary of my attempts to control what comes and stays in my life. I know you hold goodness for me and I need to allow for your timing and plans, and I need to rest.

Please keep healing me and moving me and giving me the wisdom to do what is right and loving. Lead me to the people you need me to help or the ones who are to help me. Help me to be a light to others and an inspiration and example of your goodness. Help me to walk in forgiveness for others and for myself.

Please be with me today and give me peace knowing that you provide every day and I only need to look to what today brings and not worry about tomorrow. Light my every step today and help my heart and mind to rest and focus on you and the things that matter.

Father, please comfort those I know are in pain and suffering, heal the ones dealing with illness.
