Dear Father,
Thank you for every blessing you have sent my way. Thank you for every lesson, because it’s making me smarter and stronger, and leading me to surrender. Thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Please forgive me for the times I pick it back up and start seeking on my own again. Please forgive me for the times I go into sadness and despair and forget that YOU don’t forget, YOU never leave, and YOU are working even when I can’t see it.
Father, please help me to leave behind the things that I know are not from you and to not be sad about it, or see it as a loss, but rather a burning away of the chaff and the old ways to allow the things to come that are from you.
I say it, but sometimes I don’t feel it one hundred percent…thank you for each time you remove from me what is sure to bring me heartache and pain.
Thank you, I love you, I praise you!
Please continue to heal me. Please redeem me and restore to me all I have lost but with what is of you. Bless me with what I will bless, that when it is so, it is greater than the parts and it glorifies you.
I rebuke all spirits of sadness, loneliness, rejection, self-loathing and lies, and I accept your truth, my Lord, my God! You say I am whole. You say I am worthy and loved. You say I am made in your image!
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, let it be so…your will be done.
