Dear Father God,

You are mighty and sovereign. Your ways are perfect. Your timing is impeccable. Your love is never ending. And your mercy is beyond what we deserve. Thank you for all that you are. I thank you for being the father that I need.

Father, you have been working in my life so strongly and at times it has been very uncomfortable because I’m in an unfamiliar season of my life. As much as I groan and cry, I know it’s all for my healing and for your good plans. So I thank you, for the heavy convictions. I pray that you accept my attempts and practice at being obedient. I have done some difficult things lately and though it seems uncomfortable, I know that’s where my relationship with you will grow.

Please help me continue to learn how to surrender and submit to you. Just yesterday, you showed me that I cannot alter or damage your plans for me in anything that I do. And that to think that I could is to place myself in a higher position than you or to think that your power is limited Compared to mine. Please forgive me for falling to that thinking even unwittingly.

I pray that my story and my practice in my walk with you will shine through above anything that is negative in me and that I will be a disciple to you.
