Dear Father,

You are wonderful, the creator of everything from the smallest molecule to the largest creature. There is nothing you cannot do. I thank you for it all, for every provision and every Word you have spoken. I love you, and I praise you.

Thank you for a new year, a new day, your new mercies! Your goodness and love is obvious in everything if we just look!

Father, I have been going about things backwards at times. I have sought things of this earth and needs on my own and time and time again, it seems to lead me to sorrow and heartache. Your Word came to my mind just a moment before this prayer-

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭33‬ ‭

I am trying to do just that, but my human nature slides back into old habits and ways of thinking. But I see you, daily, working on my mind and my heart and bringing growth and change. So I ask, please do not stop working on me! Thank you for being so patient with me. Thank you for the healing you are doing in my life.
