Dear Father God,

Your ways are perfect. Your will is perfect. I know this because when you have answered my requests, it has not been in the way I imagined, but far better. You do not only bless, but in your blessings are lessons we don’t even realize are needed. If our eyes are open to your workings, we can clearly see your goodness.

Sometimes it is through loss of things we try so hard to hold onto that we gain so much more than we could imagine. You give so freely and lovingly. You are the perfect Father. Stern but loving. Love is not allowing us to fall when we ask for things that seem good to us but you know will bring us to harm or pull us away from you.

We struggle with our flesh and against things unseen. Thank you for seeing all and knowing all and for being our protector.

I love you, Father!
