Dear Wonderful and Loving Father,

You are all we need. You provide. You give us endless mercy and grace for only believing in you. I thank you for all that you are, all you have done and will do in my life.

I hear the rain outside right now, and you know Father, that rainy days are not my favorite days. But please help me to see the beauty even in the rain. Remind me that the rain waters and renews the earth just like you water and renew us. Please forgive me, forgive us, for our failings of yesterday and the week before as we start this new one. Renew us in our hearts and minds.

Father, lead me, lead us to where you are. Lead us to the people who need us to be your light. Lead those to us who are of you and who will help our light shine brighter. Remove anything from us that would dim that light, anything that is not from you.

Help me, help us to see ourselves through your eyes and know that we are worthy of your love, we are worthy of love from others and that we are worthy of our own love. We are your image and to love you is to love even ourselves and give ourselves the same grace as we do others.

Those of us who are going through a healing season, send us the people who will love us through that healing. Please mend our hearts and minds.

I have mentioned specific names privately, but I ask again, please comfort the broken hearts, the crushed spirits, the grieving, heal those with physical pains, and let them know you are there and you see them. Help them to know that your timing is perfect and that you are working in the stillness.

Father, be my guide into this week and help me to be productive and do the things that I need to do.
