Dear Father,

Thank you for waking me another day so I can witness and praise your glory!

On this overcast day, when I normally want for sunshine, instead I thank you for your provision of life-giving water that provides the vegetation and creatures with what they need.

We sometimes forget the magnitude of what you provide to us. We know you are the great provider, Jehovah-jireh, but it’s easy to look to the provisions in this current day world and forget that you have been providing the earth with everything it needs since you created it.

So this morning, I want to thank you for all of the things that are your provision that we often take for granted.

Father, you know how I love to be out in your creation. Help me to always see and appreciate and to see YOU in those things, even the gray sky and rain. Thank you for this rainy day!
