Dear Heavenly Father,

You are the one true sovereign and mighty God, yet we are deemed worthy enough to call you Father. We are worthy enough to come into your presence as we are, sinners and imperfect, all because Jesus stood in our place. And how humbling to consider that Jesus, your perfect and sinless son, died for us and that YOU sent Him for that very reason. That is a love so big that we have a hard time comprehending the magnitude.

So today, Father, I bow at your feet and I give you my gratitude…a word that doesn’t even feel great enough for what you deserve.

You chased me down when I walked from you and despite my inability to see you and refusal to acknowledge you, you embraced me and showed me a love that I have never known.

I owe you my life.

I love you, Father! I love you!!!
